Detailed directions and travel information
MRT Kajang Line to Bukit Bintang Station, or Monorail Line to Bukit Bintang Station (also known as AirAsia-Bukit Bintang).
From MRT Bukit Bintang Station, multiple exits lead directly into Pavilion Kuala Lumpur, Fahrenheit88, or onto Jalan Bukit Bintang. From Monorail Bukit Bintang Station, exit directly onto Jalan Sultan Ismail, a short walk to the main shopping street.
From KLCC, take Jalan Tun Razak southbound, then turn right onto Jalan Sultan Ismail. Continue straight until you reach the Bukit Bintang area. Parking can be challenging. Drive time is approximately 10-15 minutes depending on traffic.
Parking is available at major malls like Pavilion Kuala Lumpur (RM3-5 for first hour, subsequent hours RM3-4) and Fahrenheit88 (similar rates). Alternatively, there are open-air car parks along Jalan Imbi and Jalan Raja Chulan, though availability varies. Expect higher rates during peak hours and weekends.
From KL Sentral: Approximately 15-20 minutes by MRT (change at Muzium Negara for Kajang Line) or 20-25 minutes by Monorail (direct). From KLCC: Approximately 10-15 minutes by taxi/ride-hailing, or 15-20 minutes by MRT (change at Conlay for Kajang Line).
Visit during weekday mornings for a less crowded experience, or evenings to enjoy the vibrant nightlife and street performers. Wear comfortable shoes as you'll be doing a lot of walking between malls and streets. Be mindful of your belongings, especially in crowded areas.
