Detailed directions and travel information
No direct public transport to the specific plantations. Buses go to Tanah Rata or Brinchang towns. From there, hire a taxi or Grab.
From Kuala Lumpur, take the North-South Expressway (E1) towards Ipoh. Exit at Tapah (Exit 132) and follow Route 59 uphill to Cameron Highlands. The drive is scenic but winding. From Tanah Rata, follow the main road towards Kea Farm and Brinchang; plantations are signposted.
Free parking is generally available at the main plantation visitor centres (e.g., Boh Tea Centre, Cameron Valley Tea House), but can be crowded during peak hours.
From Kuala Lumpur: Approximately 3-4 hours by car, depending on traffic and road conditions.
Visit early in the morning for cooler temperatures and fewer crowds. Bring a light jacket or sweater as it can be chilly, especially outside of midday.
