Detailed directions and travel information
No direct public transport to dive sites. Access is typically via organised dive operators from Labuan town.
From Labuan International Airport (LBU), take Jalan Jati towards Labuan town. Continue onto Jalan OKK Daud and follow signs towards the Labuan Ferry Terminal. Dive operators usually depart from jetties near the ferry terminal or specific marinas. Drive time is approximately 15-20 minutes from the airport.
Parking is available at the Labuan Ferry Terminal complex and various public lots in Labuan town. Cost is typically RM1-RM2 per hour. Availability is generally good, especially outside peak hours.
From Labuan Ferry Terminal: 5-15 minutes by boat to nearby dive sites. Travel to Labuan itself depends on origin (e.g., from Kota Kinabalu: approx. 1 hour 15 mins by ferry).
Book your dive trips in advance with a reputable dive operator, especially during peak season (March-October). Bring your own dive gear if you prefer, though most operators offer rentals. Ensure you have your diving certification.
